1. There will be no DKP awarded for farming raids. No boss kill DKP nor any participation DKP since the loot from farming bosses alone is enough of a reward. Snapshot will still be taken to record loot history but participation in farming raids will not contribute to attendance. For all progression raids attendance will be tracked separately.
2. Progression raids will, due to the lack of DKP from farming raids, award extra DKP, more than what we have been getting for the last two weeks.
3. Players who come to Yogg-Saron progression raids will have priority on raid invites on Tuesday and Wednesday where farming raids bosses are often killed, regardless of the rank. Rank is, however, still important to maintain.
4. Ranks will be adjusted based on the attendance stats recorded starting this June 8th. Attendance is mainly determined by participation in progression raids. Participation in farming raids is still counts but it is minor comparing with progression participation. Attendance is calculated on a weekly bases and incrementally including the attendance from previous week until 30 days. So the attendance stats you see on the website will not be accurate until 30 days have passed. The rank calculation, however, will be accurate when I do the calculation.
5. Higher rank members get priority on loot over lower rank players. DKP bidding is the same for members of the same rank. Rank is determined mainly by participation in progression raids so this eventually benefits players who come to progression raids and wipe over and over.
6. Right now there is one official backup tank, which is Ozilla. When tanking gear drops that the main tanks do not need, the backup tank will have priority over it.
7. For future reference, we reserve the right to prioritize loot for tanks when it is deemed necessary for guild progression.
This is just some key changes. A more comprehensive version will be integrated with our Guild Charter and DKP Rules at a later date when I have some more free time. |
